A vile, nasty murderous sort who carries out his job with ferocious intensity. Only redeeming quality is he speaks well of those he's sent to "the great junkyard in the sky," his phrase for destruction. Has 6 forms: robot, armored carrier (with twin laser batteries), ramming-tank (with infra-red rangefinder and target tracker), jet-propelled laser pistol, star fighter (maximum speed: 80,000 mph; range: .8 million miles), and wolf-creature modes. Only the wolf creature has no need for Sixshot's 2 hypersonic concussion blasters; the wolf mode prefers to rip apart enemy Autobots with his razor fangs.

Profile: Windcharger is the fastest Autobot of them all - for short distances. He can go from 0 to 60 mph in automobile mode in almost no time whatsoever, and that makes him useful in certain situations requiring very fast, very decisive action. His personality is similar: what Windcharger decides he decides immediately. He glances at something and moves, seldom bothering to ask questions. This may be because his attention span isn't particularly long. He becomes instantly enthusiastic and a few hours later loses interest. MoDel - Model-002 MP-13 Soundwave Upgrade Kit The Hasbro edition of Soundwave was my first Masterpiece Transformer, given to me as a gift many years ago. It was and is a great figure, particularly given the inclusion of five of Soundwave's cassettes when the Takara release included just one. Identical in almost every way, the only thing that ever bothered me was Hasbro's decision to give its version toy accurate yellow eyes rather than cartoon accurate red eyes. When he was the only figure in my collection it wasn't such a big deal, but once I obtained the entire season one Decepticon line-up, Soundwave just looked out of place. Previous mod kits have been of little use as they required you to disassemble the head, something rendered very difficult by the glue holding it together. In fact, it was very likely to break as the tabs inside the head were easy to cut when trying to use a craft knife to slice through the glue (not to mention the obvious external damage caused...
