Profile: Powerglide is a show-off. While most of his fellow Autobots are literally grounded by their abilities, he can take to the air, and he is exceedingly proud of that fact. He uses his ability to release brief bursts of great power to more than make up for his relatively slow flying speed. Consequently, his manoeuvrability is incredible. Whether putting on a show for his comrades or evading enemy fire, he delights in displaying his dazzling aerial virtuosity. And, like any showman, Powerglide only demands one thing from his audience after one of his performances - their appreciation. And he'll accept it from friend and foe alike.

Abilities: In vehicular mode, Powerglide can reach a cruising speed of 500 mph. He can, for short periods, increase his power output dramatically and increase his speed to 3200 mph. His manoeuvrability is excellent; he can complete an aerial loop perpendicular to the ground with a radius of only .3 miles. He carries small concussion bombs and can shoot a short range high-temperature thermal beam from the tip of his nose module. He can also use the beam in robot mode.

Weaknesses: As a result of the great confidence he has in his flying ability, Powerglide often gets into more trouble than he can handle with enemy jets. He has relatively little strength in robot mode.

"Remind me to discuss your definition of fun some time!" Name: Windcharger Allegiance: Autobot Function: Warrior Motto: "Quick action equals quick victory." Profile: Windcharger is the fastest Autobot of them all - for short distances. He can go from 0 to 60 mph in automobile mode in almost no time whatsoever, and that makes him useful in certain situations requiring very fast, very decisive action. His personality is similar: what Windcharger decides he decides immediately. He glances at something and moves, seldom bothering to ask questions. This may be because his attention span isn't particularly long. He becomes instantly enthusiastic and a few hours later loses interest. MoDel - Model-002 MP-13 Soundwave Upgrade Kit The Hasbro edition of Soundwave was my first Masterpiece Transformer, given to me as a gift many years ago. It was and is a great figure, particularly given the inclusion of five of Soundwave's cassettes when the Takara release included just one. Identical in almost every way, the only thing that ever bothered me was Hasbro's decision to give its version toy accurate yellow eyes rather than cartoon accurate red eyes. When he was the only figure in my collection it wasn't such a big deal, but once I obtained the entire season one Decepticon line-up, Soundwave just looked out of place. Previous mod kits have been of little use as they required you to disassemble the head, something rendered very difficult by the glue holding it together. In fact, it was very likely to break as the tabs inside the head were easy to cut when trying to use a craft knife to slice through the glue (not to mention the obvious external damage caused...
